Bedtime has never been more wild! Good Night, Alligator is sure to wear kids out before they are gently tucked into bed.

Armed with her book of alligator facts, little alligator has several good reasons for avoiding bedtime:

Alligators don’t brush their teeth.
They don’t wear pajamas.
And most of all, they DO NOT go to bed.

Luckily, her parents are willing to compromise. Instead of a shower (which alligators hate), she can take a bath. Instead of tucking under the covers, she can lurk beneath the blankets watching for prey.

With vibrant illustrations from Mike Boldt, illustrator of I Don't Want to be a Frog, this irreverent bedtime story by Rebecca Van Slyke is perfect for fierce kids who love to stay up all night, Good Night, Alligator. A wild romp that ends in sweet dreams.

Rebecca Van Slyke is the author of several books for children including WHERE DO PANTS GO? and LEXIE THE WORD WRANGLER. Rebecca is a graduate of Vermont College of Fine Arts’s MFA in Writing for Children. She lives with her family in Washington state.

Mike Boldt is the illustrator of I Don’t Want to be a Frog and its companion books, I Don’t Want to Go to Sleep, There’s Nothing to Do, and I Don’t Want to be Big, and the author and illustrator of Bad Dog and The Attack of the 50-foot Fluffy, among others. He lives in Alberta, Canada.
