She is a member of the Independent Christian Children's Authors. She meets monthly with her Christian Writer's Guild. Carla is married 19 years and counting and has three daughters whom she considers her Magnum Opus. Carla sits on the board of her local Crisis Pregnancy Center and local Adoption/Foster Care Agency.
