Deep lecture and Discussion. This live class will be recorded and available for later viewing.

Winter is an ideal time to read the great  British novelist Graham Greene, and to explore his novels from the masterly, edgy  studies of espionage, love,  betrayal, and  moral ambiguity,  to the thrillers and comedies he called “entertainments.” Famous for his literary style, he entered an “Imitate Graham Greene Contest” amd came in second.  Many of his novels were made into classic films, and we’ll talk about some of those too, especially the two very different versions of The Quiet American.
