About the Book:

In this Native American retelling of Thanksgiving, guardian spirits Weeâchumun (corn) and her sisters (beans and squash) help the newcomers grow food to sustain them.  Portrayed in soft blue and green illustrations signifying our environment, this story of the Fall Harvest focuses on how humans rely on each other and the world around them.
